Did you know that?

The families who call Ronald McDonald House "Home" come from Northern Ontario, from Kingston to Cornwall: communities like Pembroke, North Bay, Sudbury, and Petawawa. Families from Newfoundland and even from points overseas walk through our doors.
Ronald McDonald House has been serving families since 1984.
Families pay $10.00 per night per room. There has been no increase since our doors opened in 1984.
To keep a room open costs the House $70.00 per night.
Ronald McDonald House is owned and operated by a charitable, non-profit organization called National Capital Children’s Oncology Care Inc.
A 15 member volunteer Board oversees the operation of the House.
Ronald McDonald House has a small paid staff.
Fundraisers are held each year to help the House with the ongoing day-to-day operation of the House. Sponsorships, prizes and assistance are appreciated.
95% of all funds raised goes directly to the House.
Most monetary donations made to Ronald McDonald House are eligible for a tax receipt.
Ronald McDonald House is volunteer driven.
Volunteer hours may be tailored to fit one’s work/home schedule
Guest speakers are available for groups and clubs.
From time to time since 1984 we have been the recipients of significant proceeds from McHappy Day and other nationally sponsored events.
Ronald McDonald House is dependent upon public donations to help us provide the high standard of service for which our House has become known.
Donations are always welcome. (Some exceptions do apply - no clothing, shoes and nothing alive!) Dry, canned and baked goods are welcome.
